Taghreed Najjar presented her latest story book “A Home for Arnoub” which comes with an interactive bilingual CD. The children watched the animated musical story and sang along with sad sad Arnoub and were happy when he finally found a new home with lovely Arnouba.
Squeels of excited laughter greeted the mascot Arnoub who surprised the kids and interacted with them then presented each child with a kit to make a puppet of one of the characters of the book using Fine empty boxes and cardboard toilet rolls.
The event was organized by Kitabi Kitabak initiative as one of the summer activities of the library for the summer. Hittin Camp library is the second library established by the initiative. Hana Al Ramli the woman behind the initiative said “teachers and parents have already noted the positive effect these libraries and activities have on children”.
