Zuzu is a big boy now. He is ready to be potty trained. The family all join in to help Mama with Zuzu's potty training. They soon find out it is not an easy task. Zuzu pees behind the plant, behind the curtain, and under the couch. He pees anywhere but inside the potty! Zuzu then watches how Tala, Jad, Mom, and Dad use the toilet. He notices how they sit on the toilet seat, flush and then wash and dry their hands. One day, to everyone's surprise, he sits on the toilet seat and does his business correctly. His family is pleased at his success, and they clap happily.
Questions for discussion:
- Ask your mom to tell you about your potty experience, then compare yourself to Zuzu. It's okay to laugh a little.
- How did Tala and Jad help Mom and Dad in Zuzu's potty training? Do you help your parents with your younger brothers or sisters? Give an example.
- How did Zuzu finally learn to use the toilet? Give an example of how you learnt something by watching others.
